Do these in order

Create an account
Open app.optimaatti.fi, register and sign in.
Done: Done when you reach the Optimaatti home view.

Copy connection details
Open Connection details in Optimaatti. Copy server, port, username and password.
Done: Done when the four values are visible or saved.

Connect the device to your home network
Open the device app or web view and connect the device to your home Wi-Fi.
Done: Done when the device appears in the manufacturer app or browser.

Enter connection details on the device
Open the device MQTT settings and paste the four values exactly.
Done: Done when the settings are saved.

Check Optimaatti
Return to Optimaatti and open Devices. Wait calmly for 1-2 minutes.
Done: Done when the device appears on the Devices page.

Create the first rule
Choose an easy template, such as cheapest hours, and save the rule.
Done: Done when you can see when the device will turn on next.
If something feels wrong
- Stop automation using the Stop automation guide.
- You can control the device manually if automation does not feel right.
- If the device does not appear, first check the password and port.
- If you are unsure about electrical installation, stop and ask an electrician.
