Heating-season results

What happened in a real home?

We publish a measured result even when it is small or negative. You can see what was compared and what was excluded, not only the final number.

Is it actually real

Loading the heating-season result

We combine the measured cost of automated electric radiators in a 75 m² home with a comparison against ordinary thermostat control.

Loading the heating-season result

We are checking whether an approved result has been published.

The result shows the measurement period, comparison method, included heating devices, and calculation limits.

How the comparison works

1. Radiator use is measured

Only metered electric radiators marked as heating devices are included.

2. Ordinary control is modelled

Data from the home estimates what the same heating need would have cost with ordinary thermostat control.

3. Only valid days are counted

The result is published only when at least 80% of the period and weather data are usable.

What the first result shows

  • The reference is a 75 m² home in a small apartment building.
  • Optimaatti controls and measures electric radiators.
  • The comparison uses data collected from the start of 2026.

What the result does not show yet

  • Toilet and bathroom floor heating are excluded.
  • The comparison is not a randomized A/B trial.
  • It does not prove Home Pro control of a heat pump and resistance heating together.
