Energy-efficient lighting control
Schedule outdoor lights, shared spaces and groups cost-effectively.
Benefits
- Reduces unnecessary consumption indoors and outdoors
- Rooms and light groups keep lighting structure clear
- Motion and ambient light sensors control light groups automatically
- Integrated scheduling and dusk/dawn logic
- Works with existing switches (momentary switch recommended)
How it works
- Create rooms and light groups (e.g. "Living room lights", "Yard lights")
- Add lights to rooms and assign them to appropriate groups
- Add motion and ambient light sensors and link them to the groups you want them to control
- Set time-based rules and price weighting (you can use guided mode)
- Manual override from a switch or the app is always available
Compatible devices
Shelly Plus/Pro 1 and 1PM, dimmers, group controls.
Typical examples
- A motion sensor controls the "Living room lights" group between 06–23 — lights turn on automatically with motion in the morning and evening, but the group does not activate at night.
- An ambient light sensor controls the "Yard lights" group: lights turn on automatically when it gets dark outside and turn off when there is enough daylight.
