Terms of service for Optimaatti.

1. Service description
Optimaatti is a smart system for controlling Shelly devices based on spot electricity prices. The service enables automatic electricity savings.
2. Using the service
Using the service requires registration and creating a user account. The user is responsible for keeping their username and password secure.
3. User obligations
The user agrees to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Use the service lawfully
- Comply with these terms
- Ensure proper installation of their own devices
4. Service availability
We aim to provide uninterrupted service, but we do not guarantee continuous availability. The service may have maintenance breaks and disruptions.
5. Limitations of liability
The service provider is not liable for:
- Damages caused by incorrect installation of the user's devices
- Availability of the electricity grid or price data
- Indirect damages
- Third-party services
6. Pricing and payments
Pricing is shown on the pricing page. Prices include VAT. Payment is charged in advance according to the selected billing period.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to consumer protection law.
8. Termination
The user may terminate use of the service at any time. The service provider may terminate due to violation of the terms.
9. Changes to the terms
The service provider may change the terms. Changes will be notified to users by email at least 30 days before taking effect.
10. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are primarily resolved through negotiation. Consumer disputes may be submitted to the Consumer Disputes Board.
